Victor has very kindly provided me with his trademark diffuser and all the shots taken today were using the Victor Setup; fast assembly, instant results.

Amyciaea female, kerengga ant-mimic thomisid, guarding her egg sac.

Myrmarachne, another kerengga ant-mimic but in a different spider family, the salticids.

Female Epeus.

Another salticid.

Strange tiny spider that also somewhat resembles an ant.

Small hopper nymph. Antenna suggests Fulgoroidea.

One of the most commonly seen reduvid, possibly Cosmolestes picticeps.

Alydidae nymphs.

Another bug nymph on a rotting log.

Woodlouse in moss.

Spiky caterpillar.

Skipper (Lesser Dart, Potanthus omaha omaha?).

Cranefly with a yellow mite on it.

Small midge.

Housefly.

Tadpole.

Changeable lizard, and invasive lizard that is displacing our green crested lizard.

With artificial background studio setup :P

Pulau Ubin, among the world's 10 most secret islands, makes for one of the last locations in Singapore where one can recalibrate to a slower, more idyllic pace and enjoy nature. Hopefully, enough of the island can resist capitalism's corruption and remain a quaint, rustic getaway untainted by frivolous and superficial developments.

Neat homemade diffuser. It seems to work excellently with your flash I see. Mind is an ordinary plastic bag cut-out and works very well too. The texture of your subjects came out very clear, warm and alive without the glare. Good shots.
Thanks Joseph! Yes I'm quite happy with this setup.
