110806 Singapore Botanic Gardens

Joined Macro Maniacs Of Singapore on their night shoot (thanks Colleen, for organizing). The group covered the marsh garden and plant house before leaving. Nicky and I continued onward to the fernery and rainforest walk.

Mystery moth.

Strange looking fly spotted by Nicky. Probably robber fly (Asilidae).

The handrails of the rainforest walk had many tiny spitting spiders (Scytodidae). Male top, female bottom.

This crazy earwing (2 cm long excluding cerci) didn't stop running up and down the railing post. Cerci look straight, so I guess its female.
