Squashed scorpion on the road. Quite large, about 15 cm long maybe.

We stopped by a tiny waterfall with a man-made pool on the way up. There is a frog here, quite well hidden.

There it is.

Skink, Marcus identified it but I forgot the name.

Looks like a fat Tetrigidae with a red mite on its shoulder.

Fraser's Hill tried to give me an insect protein diet. This moth fell in my lemon tea. Later, there was a cockroach leg in my ice tea and fried wasp on my Ramly burger.

Poisonous rock frogs.

Weird looking caterpillar spotted by Marcus.

Some sort of hymenopteran nest?

Bipalium.

What I specifically came to Fraser's Hill to see, Liphistidae. Their trapdoor burrows have the characteristic trip lines radiating from it. Unfortunately, we did not manage to get any photos of the spiders.

A few were rather large, as compared to Ivan's pinky.

Other than liphistids, there were many tarantula burrows as well.

Quite a large tarantula.

Cricket.

Millipede.

This spider looks very much like Damarchus workmani which we have in Singapore, although I cannot say if it really is.

Moths that visited our balcony.

A couple of these ladybirds were on the balcony as well.

Lacewing larva.

Ant alate?

Some sort of beetle larva.

Zombiefied and probably already dead caterpillar on the cocoons of the parasitic wasp larvae that were living in it.

Tussock moth caterpillar.

Moth that Ivan found.

Hemipteran hopper.

Robber fly spotted by Marcus.

Spiderlings spotted by Liana.

She also spotted this unusual Opiliones.

Lycidae?

Leeches have eyes.

Millipede, about 15 cm long.

Weevil.

Gecko.

Sparassidae.

Odontomachus.

Ivan made a fantastic find in this rarely seen variable reed snake.
