Right off the bat, Russel spots a sea snake (Laticauda colubrina). Although very inoffensive, it has a very respectable LD50.

Tiny anemones (Diadumene sp.?). For this particular shore, these anemones appear to mainly inhabit surfaces that generally face in one direction, quite odd.

Zoanthids.

Kok Sheng found this red feather star.

It was placed in a shallower pool for a closer look. The pool contained tiny amphipods which appear to be completely at home with the "invasion", some even calmly perched on the appendages of the feather star to filter-feed.

Kok Sheng also spotted this moon snail.

The giant clam (Tridacna squamosa) tagged by Mei Lin. It was partially covered with bryopsis which, Kok Sheng commented, helped camouflage it while impeding its photosynthesis at the same time, a trade-off.

Cowrie tucked under a zoanthid mat. What was it doing there?

Trochus niloticus.

Cerianthid, saw only one.

Peachia anemone.

Tiny crab. Our shores are filled with various tiny crabs that are often overlooked due to their size.
