This spoon pincer crab is incredibly cute. It was patiently assessing if I was a threat.

Finally deciding I wasn't going to eat it, it emerged and began to stuff its face non-stop. Look at it go. Adorable.

Swimming crab (Thalamita sp.). Quite often seen but rarely do they allow me to approach this close.

Snapping shrimp.

Acanthozoon flatworm, one of the most commonly spotted flatworms on our shores.

Mei Lin spotted this pale flatworm that seemed to have two beady little eyes.

Costasiella slug, 1.5 mm long.

Bryopsis slug in an untidy tangle.

Kok Sheng spotted this sidegill slug (Euselenops luniceps). It was swimming for a while.

Crawling on the sand.

Then it decided to flip revealing its under surface. According to Mei Lin, they bury themselves in the sand upside down.

Bleached bubble tipped anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor).

Kok Sheng also spotted this pizza anemone (Cryptodendrum adhaesivum).

Closeup of its various types of tentacles.

Wedged in cracks were these posy anemones.

Only saw a couple of Phymanthus anemones.

Two types of corallimorphs. Bottom ones with a cowrie.

Fairly large brittlestar. Each arm is probably about 30 cm long.

Holothuria leucospilota.

The Bryopsis were also home to jealous amphipods and hardcore isopods.

And tiny yet rather beautiful shrimp haunt the Sargassum.

Kok Sheng spotted this Lycodon capucinus while we were on the way to the lagoon.
ps. there has been heavy abuse of content-aware fill for quite a few of the photos to remove reflections.
