100602 Singapore Botanic Gardens

Had some time to kill before the Nparks talk on Ubin camera traps so went to take a short walk around to see what I could find.

I wonder if this is a male Epeus flavobilineatus. It does not appear to have the mohawk hairstyle typical of the genus.

Spitting spider (Scytodes sp.) female with young. There is an extended mother–offspring association, with juveniles tending to remain in their mother's web until after the third moult.

Moth. Probably in the genus Asota (A. heliconia?).

Pale grass blue (Zizeeria maha serica).

Cicada shell. It was within arms reach of a rather heavily used path.
