100523 and 100530 mantis nymphs

This little ant mimic mantis nymph was crawling on my ear while I was having breakfast at a coffeeshop near Queenstown MRT. It looks like an Odontomantis Planiceps nymph. Apparently these mantises start off mimicking ants but grow up to look like typical mantises.

I also found this bark mantis nymph (Amorphocelidae) in my room a week ago.

For such tiny wingless creatures, they certainly do get around.
