This poor fish seemed to prefer beaching itself on the seaweed despite rescue attempts.

The yellow fish with black bands is probably a baby golden trevally (Gnathanodon speciosus).
The "flying fish" is possibly a flying halfbeak (Oxyporhamphus convexus), which is a halfbeak without the distinctive elongated lower jaw. but has enlarged pectoral fins like those of a flying fish. It's in the Singapore list at FishBase.
