Pasir Ris - Anemone day

Not much to say, the order of business of the day was anemones.

Lots of these mysterious orifices which turned out to be sea cucumbers buried in the sand. They were out in force today and it was hard to walk without stepping on them.

Ria found this mudskipper having breakfast.

This unfortunate snapping shrimp had its burrow ruined by my unwary foot.

Coral growing on a live snail.

WE found quite a few of my favorite hairy sea hares. This one didn't take too kindly to being disturbed.

A variety of worms :

As well as many pink ribbon worms.

Some hermit crabs up to strange and mysterious activities :

Hermit crab mysteriously hugging its shell, oblivious to my photo-taking.

This one sharing its melo melo shell with a scale worm.

A pair of unearthly looking hermits.

The anemones :

Peachia.

Unknown.

The look like striped bead anemones, one of them feasting on crab.

Stichodactyal tapetum. There were a couple.

Peacock anemone, this one quite tiny, about an inch across. There were a few larger ones as well.
